Working on your LinkedIn profile by yourself kind of sucks.
You know it. I know it. And if you’ve ever bought a course, downloaded a guide, bookmarked seventeen “how to fix your LinkedIn” articles, and then…not done much of anything…you really know it.
It’s not that you don’t care. It’s not that you’re lazy. It’s that sitting alone with your own professional story, trying to make it sound compelling to a stranger, is one of the most annoying tasks in professional development.
(Ask me how I know.)
Why does working on your LinkedIn profile alone feel so hard?
Because you’re doing the hardest kind of writing there is: writing about yourself. You know your experience. You know your value. But translating that into a profile that makes someone stop scrolling? That’s a different skill entirely.
I built Optimize, my self-paced course, so that anyone could access the same framework I use with my private clients. 50+ videos. Every section of the profile. The whole methodology, laid out step by step.
And it works. People who go through it build better profiles. Significantly better.
But here’s what I kept seeing.
People would buy the course. Watch the videos. Understand the framework. And then…stall. Not because the course was missing something. Because doing the work alone — without someone in the room saying “wait, say that again” or “THAT’s the line, put that in your headline” — is where most people hit a wall.
Or hit their head against a wall. Sometimes with excessive enthusiasm out of sheer frustration.
(Been there, done that.)
What happens when you work on your LinkedIn profile with other people in the room
When I taught the LinkedIn Profile Masterclass, I offered coworking sessions alongside it. Time to actually sit down and do the work with other people in the room.
Only a handful of people took advantage of them.
And as far as I can tell, they’re also the only ones who got their profiles done.
Not because they were more disciplined. Not because they cared more. Because they had the room. The accountability. The energy of other people doing the same hard thing at the same time.
That’s not a coincidence. That’s how humans work.
The gap that kept bugging me
Here’s the thing.
If you want to work with me privately, fully custom, co-created, the whole experience, that’s high-touch, private-invite work. And it’s not accessible for most people. Especially right now, in 2026, when justifying any professional investment requires a deep breath.
I get that. I really do.
And if you want to do it yourself, Optimize is there. $397, lifetime access, same framework.
But between those two? Nothing.
No option for the person who knows they need support, knows they won’t finish alone, and needs a price point that doesn’t require a second mortgage.
That bugged me. For a while.
So I built it.
What is the Optimize Lab?
The Optimize Lab is six weeks of live group sessions, Thursdays, 12–2 PM ET, starting October 8. You get the full Optimize course PLUS six weeks of me, live, in the room with you. Hot seats. Real feedback. Actual co-working time where we do the excavation together.
I’m setting the pace so it gets done. Not a “I’m here if you need me” kind of thing. A “we’re doing this part this week” kind of thing.
Founding cohort. Twelve seats. That’s it.
I capped it at 12 because this only works if everyone gets airtime. If you’re in the room, you’re getting worked with. Not watching from the back row while someone else gets the attention.
(I’m being a little selfish here, too. I need the proof. I need 12 people who finish and can say “this is what happened.” That matters for what comes next.)
The founding price is $1,997. It goes up after this cohort.
This isn’t about willpower
I want to be clear about something.
If you bought a course — mine or anyone else’s — and haven’t finished it, that doesn’t mean you failed. It means you’re a human being who finds it hard to do deep, personal excavation work alone.
Welcome to the club. I literally can’t write my own headline. I wrote a whole post about it.
(And wait until you hear what happened to my headline last week. If you caught it during a 14 hour window, you’re laughing already. Because it would have been embarrassing if it wasn’t so funny.)
The Lab exists because you deserve the support. Not the watered-down version of it. Not the “figure it out from the videos” version. The real thing. Me in the room. Other people doing it alongside you. Six weeks to actually get it done.
The waitlist is open now. Founding cohort starts October 8.
