This is a blog post on Love Your LinkedIn Profile by Natalie Berthe. We rebuilt four LinkedIn profiles. One got a job offer. One landed a speaking gig. One got dream-company proposals. All before they were done.

We Rebuilt Their LinkedIn Profiles. Here's What Happened Next

Eden Rookstool got a job offer before we were even halfway through her profile.

(Totally true. We were both stunned at how fast it happened.)

We had barely started on her Experience section. Hadn’t written her About. The headline was meh, her banner was solidly decent. But her Projects and Publications? Both rocked.

And someone found her, liked what they saw, and reached out with an offer. In her field. Before the profile was finished.

That’s not supposed to happen. You’re supposed to complete the whole thing, optimize every section, THEN wait patiently for results while you network like someone frantically paddling to keep their head above water.

Eden didn’t get that memo.

What Does a LinkedIn Profile Overhaul Actually Get You?

Real opportunities from real people who found you and decided you were worth reaching out to. Not followers. Not likes. Actual results.

Here’s what it looked like for four women who did the work.

Eden Rookstool got a job offer mid-build. We were literally still working on her profile. After the build? She got an even better one.

Solange Wilson launched her business with no website. None. Her LinkedIn profile was her entire online presence. She was offered the opportunity to submit proposals to companies she never even considered.

(No website. No other online presence for a new business. Just LinkedIn.)

Michelle Bergsma got a speaking gig before her profile was even finished. Then came the random compliments. People outside her network finding her on LinkedIn and telling her she was exactly who they needed. Not people she pitched. People who found HER.

Patricia Cregier is the star of the conference story I posted a few days ago. But another success is equally worthwhile: she went to meet with someone, fully prepared to explain her background. She walked in the room and her counterpart said, “You come highly recommended. Then I read your LinkedIn profile and now I feel like I know you. Let’s see if we can make this happen.”

HELLO!

The Pattern Nobody Talks About

None of these folks changed jobs. None of them launched a marketing campaign. None of them became “LinkedIn influencers.”

They rebuilt their profiles.

That’s it. We sat down and did the work. Excavated what made each of them remarkable. Translated it into language that actually lands on LinkedIn. Built profiles that said what they do and why anyone should care.

The results weren’t luck. They happened because their profiles finally matched who they actually are.

Different people. Different industries. Different goals. Same system. Same results.

And here’s the thing nobody tells you: every single one of them was sitting on the exact credentials, experience, and expertise that made these results possible. For years. They already had the goods. It just wasn’t on their profiles, or it was buried under generic language that made them sound like everyone else.

Who wants to sound like everyone else?? Ugh.

Will It Work for You?

Yes. If you’re willing to put in the work and follow the system.

Which sounds, admittedly, counterintuitive. “Follow a system” sounds like a template. It’s not. It’s an excavation. Pulling out the things you’ve been sitting on and putting them where they belong. The things that make someone lean in instead of scroll past.

Not to mention that the system itself is upside-down. Literally. Because we always start at the bottom of the profile.

The results speak for themselves.

The Optimize Lab is where we do exactly this together. Six weeks of live group sessions, starting October 8. Twelve seats in the founding cohort (that’s hard cap). $1,997, a price that goes up after this one.

If you want in, now’s the time.
